How to make an existing USB controller work with Windows 10? (self.pcgamingtechsupport) submitted 3 years ago *. Let me choose from a list of Windows drivers 5: find a driver that either says 'Windows controller for common class', or one that simply says 'Controller'. Now, I do not know the brand. I have not changed the brand in any way. I run the Nestopia emulator on my mac book, which has OS X. It means that when you click on 'set' you have 5 seconds to press the button on the nes usb controller.
Gtron Retro USB Super Classic Controller For PC/Mac: Bullshit
I'm computer literate/able to solve most problems easily, but this is driving me crazy enough to post on Reddit. The titular controller is billed as plug-and-play, but it is not for me. I can do inputs (as screwy as they are) in USB Overdrive, but once I open up Controls in Preferences in OpenEMU (1.0.4) this shit happens: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/718/22113632684_ffb8ea60d2_b.jpg And nothing will work when I'm playing a ROM.

I read a lot online, and I tried everything in this thread: http://www.mac-forums.com/os-x-operating-system/292222-usb-snes-controller.html I also tried restarting computer, using other USB ports, closing and re-opening everything... to no avail.
